About Me

I’m Rob Silverstein, a Director of Photography and Director based in Baltimore. I’ve been working professionally since 2015, across narrative film and music videos.

I approach every project as a creative partner, not just a camera operator. I’m as comfortable directing performances, shaping tone, and blocking scenes as I am designing the visual language behind the lens. The goal is always clarity and intention — knowing why a shot exists before deciding how it looks.

My work favors restraint over excess and story over spectacle. Every frame should earn its place and serve the artist or the narrative at the center of it.
